Generational Insanity - The Stupidity And Greatness Of Each Generation

Every generation has its own style. Each era has a unique vocabulary, its own taboos and its own definition of what is considered cool or hip. Each era has its style of fashion, music and entertainment. Some fads and vocabulary are temporary and some make it past the generational stage and become permanent fixtures of society. Some go away but still leave their influence in other ways. The expressions; "That's groovy man" and "Far Out!" have long been replaced by "At the end of the day" and "That's how I roll!" Thankfully the expression "Don't go there" seems to have seen its last days. Some styles or expressions are driven by technology such as "LOL" or "ROTFL". At times, we use new expressions without thinking. They all of a sudden find themselves inside our vocabulary repertoire and we don't know how they got in there or how we can get rid of them.

In a recent controversy, Tom Hanks spoke about United States racism during World War II. Most of the time, when actors get involved in political issues, they show how uninformed they are of the real world outside of a Hollywood film set. However, in this case Tom Hanks has a point. The U.S. was attacked by Japan at Pearl Harbor and then took appropriate action in everything it did to defend itself. But in marketing war to its citizenry, there were words used and characterizations made of the Japanese people that were over the line. We could have "sold" the war in the Pacific based on the horrible reality of the sneak attack without demonizing everyone of a particular race and culture. The same thing is true of the wars in Vietnam and Korea where other offensive terms and characterizations were used.

Today, we've gone in the exact opposite direction. The United States and, in fact most of the world, is at war with a fundamentalist form of Islam yet we are afraid to mention the true nature of the enemy. This does not mean that we have to use terms for Muslims that are comparable to words used in the past for the Japanese, Vietnamese or Koreans. At the same time, however, we can't pretend that reality is something other than what it is. The threat of terrorism is real and won't go away by pretending it doesn't exist or by calling it by a different name.

It's amazing how some things in society are considered taboo while others are acceptable. It's even more amazing how what is taboo and acceptable changes over time. An old episode of the television show I Love Lucy had to show a husband and wife in different beds; it couldn't even use the word "pregnant" on the air. Yet just about everyone, men and women alike were always smoking cigarettes! Today, you'll see women kissing women on prime time TV, sexual innuendo all over the place but they won't dare show someone smoking a cigarette! These are two distinctly different societies -- one society smokes like chimneys calling people of different races bad names while no one anywhere in the world has ever had sex. The other society has so many rules regarding how to speak about different cultures that they are afraid to say anything but they are all having sex with each other.

Language is a reflection of the society. Watch an old movie from the 30's and you are likely to hear the coolest character in the film say something such as "That's swell!" As the language gets updated and revised, so do the customs. Usually started by the younger generation in revolt of some perceived wrong, they feel the need to be different. They may grow their hair long and wear psychedelic colored clothes or they may wear 20 gold chains and polyester suits. They may wear baggy jeans (see dungarees) that reveal the boxer shorts within or they may have tattoos and piercings all over their body. Perhaps it's a midriff shirt worn at just the right length to reveal the tattoo on the back. And when, exactly, did butt cracks become a statement of style? I guess it depends on whose butt crack it is, to answer my own question.

Every generation thinks it knows better than the previous one. Eventually, the customs of every generation fade away and give in to newer ones. Each generation laughs at previous generations thinking that they, the current generation, are the coolest, the smartest, and the most aware. They are always laughed at by the generation coming up behind them. The cycle never ends. The generation that has been replaced is permanently memorialized in the books, in the movies and in the music that it has produced.

When history is looked at objectively, some generations face more problems than others. Some react differently, causing either good or harm. As time passes, it is important to understand that each generation has a responsibility, at the end of the day (Argghhh!), to understand that it is not as unique as it thinks it is. For this reason, it is important that no generation of people leave such a legacy that future generations lose the ability to laugh at the previous one. No single generation should have so much importance as to limit what the following generation can or can't accomplish. Each generation should have an equal chance to be just as stupid and annoying as the previous one.

While there are things to be laughed at in each generation, there are also things that each generation adds to our society. It is important to take the good out of every generation. It is in this way that we gain accumulated knowledge and wisdom. By taking the best out of every generation and understanding that the current generation will always be limited by issues of a particular time, we can continue to grow as a country or as a society. We need to learn from history, rather than abandon it or label it as "old fashioned". In a sense, this idea of understanding that the present is always clouded by the moirés, fashions, styles, and biases of any particular time and that the past is something to be respected is the definition of conservatism.

The founding fathers, whom recent generations would label as dead white males, understood that everything had to be balanced. They brilliantly balanced the power of states to the federal government, the power of the legislative branch vs. the power of the executive and the judicial branches. What is lesser known is how they knew to balance the whims of one generation against the proven successes and failures of previous generations. This is why the constitution makes it difficult to change or amend a law or a bill. The framers of the constitution recognized that the perceived needs of any present time may not always be in the best interests of future generations.

In Barack Obama's State of the Union address on January 28, 2010, he said the following: "if the Republican leadership is going to insist that 60 votes in the Senate are required to do any business at all in this town, a supermajority, then the responsibility to govern is now yours, as well. Just saying no to everything may be good short-term politics, but it's not leadership. We were sent here to serve our citizens, not our ambitions." In saying this, President Obama showed that he either doesn't understand the constitution or that he doesn't respect the constitution. He has his logic completely backwards. The framers wanted to make the process difficult so that if a law was changed or created, it would have to be something that transcended the ambitions of any individuals. It is precisely that reason why the framers made it so that 60 votes are required. Barack Obama was trying to criticize the Republicans but he was actually criticizing the constitution, itself. In effect, it is his own ambitions that he is putting ahead of the constitution. It was precisely for this type of person that the framers made it so that 60 votes would be necessary!

Ralph Waldo Emerson once said "All times are good times if we but knew how to use them." We obviously haven't always used our times in the best ways. There have been times of fear and insanity where people have rationalized absolute evils such as slavery and mass extermination. Other times have shown incredible innovation, ingenuity and kindness. Because at any given time, the way people perceive reality can change, it is important to keep the present in perspective to the known successes and failures of the past. Unfortunately, that is not the case with the current United States administration. Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid all think they are bigger than anything that came before them and that is a recipe for disaster.

Pakistan may hurt Afghans

We are not paying the price for war on terror but rather we are punished for our support for American sponsored Jihad in Afghanistan – the jihad against Revolution. If today Afghanistan is a heap of destruction it is because of their failure to understand the nationalist approach of those young revolutionary gentlemen and lastly they were slaughtered by tribal bearded men. Today Pakistan is isolated and hated by Afghans; it is because of the rising nationalism in Afghan youth. Will they forget the way they were deprived of their homes? Will the young girls of Afghanistan forget how they were treated here in Peshawar? Almost every man looked at them with shameless eyes. And they were exploited because of their poverty.

If we want to be respected and honored in Afghanistan we will have to take care of their wounds - the wounds which we have given them for almost three decades. For the last few decades we are trying to have a group in Afghanistan that can protect our interests. And today we are relying on Afghan Taliban. How it is possible that the group which is rejected by Pakistanis will be happily accepted by the Afghans? Even Moulana Fazal Rehman is not agreed with the policy of Islamisation of Taliban so how we can impose Afghan Taliban on the people of Afghanistan? I think we have forgotten they way American were welcomed and Taliban were beaten by common people in the streets of Kabul.

Taliban are using terror as a tool to subjugate others that is not acceptable to any one even here in Pakistan. And secondly Taliban history shows that they never shared power with their opponents. And they don’t have a history of successful negotiations. They were not wise enough to understand the policies of America. It was their harsh behavior that caused their downfall and fall of Kabul.

If it is the logic that Taliban are practically controlling a large part of Afghanistan that’s why they must be accommodated in the central government so why not we are accommodating Pakistani Taliban in our provincial and national assemblies? Because they were also controlling a very large part of our FATA and some settled areas. Even Sufi Muhammad was successfully accommodated in the main steam politics but do we remember what they demanded? A complete “Sharia” in Pakistan and they used derogatory language against the Parliament, Judiciary and democracy.

Will Afghans accept Taliban, having seen the experience of Pakistan in Swat? And what Taliban has given to the people of Afghanistan in their eight years government? Poverty, fear, negation of technology and education, thousands of dead bodies and international isolation. Are Afghans ready to accommodate Taliban in the government? And whom they represent?

But there is one way that can make Taliban popular in Afghanistan. We will have to accept one thing that Taliban were sincere with Afghanistan but their policies also destroyed Afghans. Their nationalist approach plus if they change their viewpoint of Islamisation then they can hope to gain something in the future government setup of Afghanistan.

Taliban have got to think whether they were devils or they were presented like devils? And who is accountable for this horrifying appearance of Taliban? And what they have achieved in the end? Islamic State? Which they have ruined by their flawed strategy in Afghanistan. After the departure of Russian army from Afghanistan and the blood-spattered civil wars Taliban could shape a model of Islamic government in front of the people of the world. The time had given them chance to form a Sunni model of Islamic state next to Iran. The world could compare both these Islamic models living in peace side by side.

Taliban had example of Iraq war 1991 before them - how imperialist powers destroyed Iraq and its well established army. Taliban were waiting for the help of Allah but Allah sent American forces as calamity for them. After a humiliating defeat in Afghanistan Taliban did not learn any thing from their failure. Muslims have a long history of armed struggle against British and its companions in sub continent. Why Syed Ahmad Shaheed and Shah Ismael Shaheed failed in Pakhtun society struggling against Sikhs? War of Independence of 1857 was a final breakdown of Muslims armed struggle. After this Muslims and Hindus changed their course of action. And the last armed struggle was of “Reshmi Rumal Tehrik” which also ended in failure. Before partition communist armed struggle was also not successful against British. What does this mean? Violent struggle does not have legal support from world community in this modern age.

Taliban has always ignored the fact that they are just string-puppets. And puppets cannot work on their own. Agencies have used them like toilet papers and then thrown into dust bins. Secondly Taliban must not forget how they were isolated and why people turned against them? Its time to rethink how the people working for Islamic revolution failed in Muslim Society?

. It is a proven fact that our people love Islam but Taliban Islamic model is not their dream. Pakhtuns history tells us that they by no means accepted a rule imposed on them. Taliban imposed their self-made Islamic model by terrorizing Pakhtuns. This policy brought a negative reaction for Taliban. Pakhtuns even do not agree to their own rules if imposed by force. But somewhat they are persuaded by Jirga in logical way to come to terms and move away from their standpoint. Pakistan must also realize that success of Taliban movement is not the aim of Afghanis. Imposing Taliban can destroy our image in Afghanistan. It may again hurt Afghans.

The Somali Agenda

Somalia has been with out an effective running government for nearly two decades since the over through of the last president Mohamed Siad Barre and all efforts to form a functioning administration has proved futile time and again and many international reconciliations efforts have failed too. The reasons for these failure have been attributed to too many external interference in what is an internal problem for Somalis to resolve and in many mediation conferences the hosting countries and the hosts were people with their own agendas and in every few years such big mediation conferences are held to give an impression to the world that Somalia is not ready for peace, while their endorsed stimulus has already been set to ensure Somali leaders do not agree on anything except those dictated to them, and its only when such stimulus is coming to an end and Somali leader's opinions are becoming increasingly similar, that such big conferences like the Djibouti conference is held to ensure the status quo remains the same.

Agents of foreign imperialists will employ different people to do the job for them, but their agenda will always remain the same. Mohamed Sahnoun UN special envoy to Somalia during the beginning of the civil war had the task of reconciling the Warring Somali leaders and ensuring the country suffers no more, but that is what the world was made to believe and his real task was to ensure that there is no more Somali government and people that confronts USA and other world powers on major conferences on issues like; Palestine, Israel, Arab League and the unity of the organization of African union among others. UNISOM was created to ensure the mayhem continues by balancing the power of the warlords such that the conflict is prolonged and the country reaches a point of no return. UNISOM contrary to their mandated operation of ensuring relief food reaches the hungry and protecting humanitarian Aid workers became engulfed in hunting for Gen Mohamed Farah Aided because their real agenda was to prolonging the war after all, and war lords like Aided who were powerfull enough to unite the people and the country were un-wanted element that needed to be removed.

Many other so called special representatives used to reside in the comfort of the exclusive Nairobi hotels, like Hilton, Serena & Ambassadeur and from there coordinate, the chaos that use to go on in the streets of Mogadishu. However, with all their intrigues they could not stop the Somali people from giving their support to the Union of Islamic Courts because the people were ready for change and tired of waiting for positive out comes from the so called Peace conferences held every other year in foreign lands, which always watered down their hopes.

Currently the world is using Ahmed Oulad Abdalla to help bring stability back to Somalia, or may be instability which is which? Is yet to be known. Somalis are yet to have a single positive initiative with no hidden agenda from the international community. World powers are increasingly sending agents who share the same blood, color or religion to any country they are targeting because it becomes easy to know the intension of the target nation when you send one of their own, to them, hence the solution and how best to dismantle them becomes easy, Just like Mohamed Al-Baradey a fellow Arab and a Muslim was used to destroy Iraq and now increasingly in Iran. But why he remains toothless tiger on the proven case of the availability of stocks of Nuclear Arsenals in countries like Israel and North Koreas remains mystery to many, but your guess is as good as mine!!

It's hard to sum up the many factors that is hindering peace and prosperity in Somalia but let's think twice before its too late and lets grab the chance to have the Proud Somalia stand shoulder to shoulder among the nation of states of the world. The Diaspora and other Somali concern groups together with the moderate Al-Shabab should ensure that the compromise Sheikh Shariff Sheikh Ahmed reached with the transitional Somali federal government in Djibouti stays intact and is observed by all, because if its done so the Somali people can have their country back just in four months time and its wise to take the first step of forgiveness and truce observance than continue with the old trade of fire meets fire, with no results and continuation of the sufferings of the Somali people. Let's think twice when the deal is too good and currently the Djibouti deal is good enough for the Somali people, though the intentions of Ahmed Oulad Abdalla and that of his superiors remain mysterious.

A Truly 21St Century Election

The next general election is being built up as the first truly online election.

Following Barack Obama's victory in the US Presidential elections in 2008, everyone is looking at political parties in the UK to see if they can replicate Obama's success in online campaigning.

Obama managed to bring online campaigning to the local level, meaning people felt politics was personal to them and therefore were more willing to campaign and make small donations. It is these donations that are the most important part of the strategy, as Obama raised millions of dollars through millions of tiny donations; going against the normal practice of gathering large donations from big-name backers.

Unfortunately the Hansard Society believes the next British election will still not be a truly online election as in the US. Whilst it agrees that the internet has become an integral tool for all political parties, it has said that because of the structure of the British elections and the huge difference in the amount of money being raised in the UK it will not be the same.

But then many people may argue to the contrary considering the sheer amount of e-government technology surrounding British elections nowadays.

All three major parties have their own official websites and then each one has one or two independent websites that invite like-minded individuals to come and debate the issues that matter to them and spread the message.

The parties are also taking advantage of the internet for clever campaigning tactics. The Liberal Democrats have launched a website called labservative.com which mocks the both the Conservatives and the Labour Party for offering very little change. There is even a mock video address from a hybrid of Gordon Brown and David Cameron – Gorvid Camerown. The Conservatives have also become a fan of using targeted keywords to pull more people to their webpage. For major political events, they have been known to purchase sponsored link space on keywords related to it, for the Budget for example.

However, moving away from the parties' efforts, another key change in the last US election was the amount of debate engaged online. In this case the UK can boast a rather powerful and popular blogosphere that will certainly be debating every aspect of the general election.

British citizens can read the top political bloggers like Guido Fawkes, Dizzy, Iain Dale and the newspaper offerings to the average local citizen offering his/her opinion on the issues that matter most to that local community. The UK's blogosphere appears to be quite strong and debate has raged for some years about the surprising level of influence some of these sites can enjoy.

So whilst the election may not be a truly internet election, there is certainly a great level of effort by the parties and therefore a lot of information for you to get at if you really want to.

The Virtual General Election

Welcome to the UK Virtual Election 2010

What is it?

The UK Virtual Election is a social experiment designed to predict the winner of the 2010 general election. We are hoping to receive one million virtual votes which will make this the largest poll in UK political history.

We are using a highly sophisticated SMS voting platform for this experiment which will provide us with highly detailed statistics and will allow us to predict the winner on both a national and per constituency level.

Why?

We think it will be interesting to see how our results differ from the actual general election results. We also hope it will go some way to proving that electronic voting would be viable in future elections.

How do I vote?

Simply click "VOTE" below the party you wish to vote for above. You will then be provided with instructions.
We only require your age, gender and the first part of your post code, we will not ask for personal details.

Election Rules (Important)

In order to make this experiment as accurate as possible please keep to the following rules.

1: You must be over 18 and be registered to vote in the UK.

2: You should be intending to vote in the real general election.

3: You must only vote once.

We have no way of policing some of the above rules however we do ask you to please abide by them. If you do not intend to vote in the real general election then there is no benefit in you contributing to our data.

Why SMS?

We chose text messaging as the method of voting for two reasons, the first being that it's the UK's favourite method of communication with over 10 billion texts sent every month in the UK.

More importantly however it allows us to prevent fraudulent voting - our software will only allow one vote per mobile phone, multiple votes would be more difficult to prevent with an internet voting system.

Why should I vote?

We hope you share our curiosity in finding out whether the result can be predicted accurately using a large sample of voting data - traditional polls are often very small and as a result - inaccurate.

In addition our sponsor has kindly agreed to donate an Apple iPad as a prize. We will select a mobile number at random on June 5th (The iPad will be purchased and provided to the winner upon release in the UK).

The winner of the Apple iPad will have their status verified on the electoral register - this is to ensure people do not break rule number one above for the purposes of entering the prize draw.

Will I have to pay to vote?

Of course not! You will not be charged any fees for voting in the virtual election, the mobile networks may charge you for a standard text depending on your mobile tariff - on some tariffs it will be inclusive.

Important Information

We will be accepting votes for a period of 14 days only. We believe the closer to the election we do this the more accurate the results will be. We must also ask you once again to keep to the rules - even if only a few percent of voters submit false votes or are not entitled to vote - the result data could be contaminated.

Virtual Voting Begins : Monday 19th April 2010
Virtual Voting Ends : Monday 3rd May 2010
Virtual Results Announced : Wednesday 5th May 2010
Real General Election : Thursday 6th May 2010

We will publish the results of the virtual election on this web site and in a press release on Wednesday 5th May 2010. This data will include the overall winner and also our prediction on the result per constituency.

If all goes to plan we hope to accurately predict the EXACT results of the general election.

We would also like to point out that we are not affiliated with any government department or political party nor do we support any one political party. We are completely impartial.

Thank you for taking the time to visit this web site and we hope you will spare a few seconds of your time to vote. You will be contributing to a very exciting experiment with a chance of winning an iPad also.

The Story Behind The Car-Bomb Murder Of A Reputed Mob Chief In Israel

Alperon, 53, a suspected murderer whose family name is synonymous in this country with extortion, loan sharking, and violent retribution, was driving on a busy, upscale Tel Aviv street Monday afternoon when the remote-control bomb went off. He had just come from court for the bail hearing of two of his sons, ages 21 and 16, accused of extorting money from a nightclub operator.

Newspaper photos the day after the murder showed Alperon at the hearing, looking like an old-time hood in black fedora and dark sunglasses.

He'd escaped assassination at least three times before, twice by car bomb, once by bullets. His brother Nissim has survived a reported seven assassination attempts. His brother Mussa, a Likud party political operative in his spare time, lost a leg in a car bombing.

The Israeli underworld is built around gangs run by the once poor sons of Middle Eastern Jewish, or Mizrahi, immigrant families: the Alperons, Abutbuls, Abergils, and others who have become household names in this country because of unflagging media attention. When Alperon was blown up, a TV crew a few blocks away was filming an episode of "The Arbitrator," a fictional series based on the nation's mafia.

The largely Mizrahi crime families do most of their business in drugs, gambling, and extortion, with prostitution having been taken over by wayward immigrants from the former Soviet Union. Israeli Arabs have their own violent gangs known mainly for selling drugs and stolen weapons. Although ethnic separatism is the rule in Israeli organized crime, the lure of large, illicit profits can at times bring people of different backgrounds together.

The mafia capital is Tel Aviv, but the gangs also operate in Jerusalem, Netanya, Bat Yam, Lod, and other cities, as well as in the prisons. They've gotten too big for police to control.

The greatest obstacle for law enforcement is getting witnesses to testify; no wonder, since witnesses against Israeli mafia figures put their lives at risk. A couple of years ago, a prisoner due to testify against a crime boss was poisoned in his cell. A U.S.-style witness protection program is supposedly in the works to relocate such brave souls and give them new identities, but nothing has come of it.

Yaakov Alperon now joins Felix Abutbul, Yaakov Abergil, Yehezkel Aslan, Gad Plum, and other reputed Israeli mob legends who were murdered, presumably by rivals. Yet, their killers are rarely brought to justice for want of witnesses and evidence.

While the public doesn't grieve over the slain gangsters, the "collateral damage" is causing a growing outcry. The bombing of Alperon's car put a driver and schoolboy nearby in the hospital with minor injuries; in past mafia hits, innocent bystanders have been killed.

After Alperon's murder, his wife, Ahuva, was on the TV news sobbing while his ex-convict brother Zalman, wearing a black yarmulke, swore that the family "was leaving revenge in God's hands." In times of crisis, Israeli mafia families typically turn to public displays of piety; a familiar scene on the evening news is of an accused gangster appearing in court in handcuffs and a yarmulke.

Yaakov Alperon came from modest beginnings. He was one of 12 children who lived with their Egyptian immigrant parents in a two-room apartment in a dusty little town near Tel Aviv. He took up boxing, then put his fists to use on the streets and, soon, in prison. He was suspected of murdering rivals in and out of jail, but police could never prove it.

Alperon, his brothers, and his henchmen brawled repeatedly with rival families; he made legions of enemies. One of them most likely activated the bomb that left him sprawled dead in a blasted, burning sedan in the middle of northern Tel Aviv. Now another score waits to be settled.

Indian Political League

As he wiped the sweat off his brow, the naked truth struck him with tremendous force. It was the last ball of the last over. The hopes of the entire team were pinned on him. Looking across he saw an equally nervous guy standing in front of the wicket. With the bat tightly clutched in his hands, he was trying to gather all his cricketing knowledge for this last ball. Finally the moment came when the ball left the hands of the bowler and made contact with the bat. The batsman stuck it hard and it went on to make the winning run. The match was over.

The winners rejoiced every moment of their glory. The trophy was theirs and only theirs to keep. The losing team went back to the dressing room, dejected and disheartened. All this and more, in a day of cricket.

As an audience, all we see is the drama that unfolds on the field. The highs and the lows, the sixes and the fours, the tons and the top guns, the outs and the occasional doubts. Do we ever stop to think about what goes behind this theatrical display or how is it that the actors of the play are selected?

In a country as big as ours, there's no end to the amount of the talent available. May it be the good old ‘gali cricket' or the sophisticated ‘under-something' team; budding cricketers are present in hordes. In spite of so much talent, only a few make it to the national team. Some due to their talent, some through political contacts and some purely by luck. The rest just fade into oblivion. The final team is a mix of the superstars, underdogs and absolute non- performers. Is that the best combination or can it be bettered?

If only we could open our eyes to the talent present in the villages, town and even our own neighborhoods'. So many young children play this game religiously without any proper gear or training. Few of them are so good that they can give our so called stars a run for their money. Then why do we not give them a chance? Why do we not bring them out of the darkness and show them new horizons?

Is it the lack of money, infrastructure and interest or is it the influence of the influential? The answer is both.

In India, cricket is the only common religion. All cricketers are demigods and all Indians are fanatics. The country rejoices and mourns every victory and loss. Still the amount of training and development that goes into the sport is nothing compared to what it should be. The money allotted to the sports upkeep goes underutilized and the lack of adequate infrastructure makes the situation worse. All officials involved are either busy in filling their pockets or are busy pushing their candidates. No one cares about what happens to the quality of the game or the team.

A sport that was originally played with a bat and a ball has now become a political match. The amount of political backing makes you a team member and not your cricketing skills. So many good players do not make it to the crease because there's always someone else with better contacts. All decisions regarding the team and the players are taken in a boardroom with a few top notches' calling all the shots .The credentials of the players, all their hard work and their efforts are tossed and trashed. If someone fails to perform once, he's thrown out unless he has a godfather sitting and making the decisions. All the acts of the bosses are termed as strategies but what we do not realize that the strategy fails most of the times. People, who have never even picked up a bat in their entire life, make the critical decisions of who stays in the team and who makes their exit. Actors become our sports ministers and the original sportsmen are just pushed down the drain. Everyone wants an instant superstar. But a superstar is also not born overnight. Until and unless everybody is not given a fair opportunity to prove their mettle, how can we judge them?

No one realizes that we are facing stiff competition from the world. Our team represents our country. It's our national honor that's at stake and we need to do all that we can to preserve and protect it. Backstabbing, cheating and undercutting each other will not help our cause in any way .Only when we are united and have our priorities sorted, we can do justice to the efforts of all. A sport should be kept as a sport. Politics has the whole parliament devoted to it.

Now with the common wealth games so near, we as a nation need to clean up our act. We need to put our best foot forward and that can only happen when we give the truly deserving an honest chance. The only question remains is that ‘are we ready to do it?'

INDIAN POLITICAL SCENE - “THEATRE OF THE ABSURD”

Indian political scene is replete with many political players. Hence there are no dearth for political developments. They happen day by day - one fades into the background, another occupies its place and such happenings go on and on and on. Today it may be Mayawati-Rita Bahuguna Joshi spat or frisking of APJ Abdul Kalam or something international like Hillary visit or Dr.ManMohanSingh at Sharm-el-Sheikh and the End-Use Monitoring Arrangement related to the purchase of defence purchases and controversies following it. Only a few examples. There are umpteen of them. Our political commentators get a lot to write upon and also reach their conclusions following analyses which may vary from commentator to commentator, which is also natural. View-points differ from person to person.

Now come to some of the recent developments which caught the national attention. Sorry sir, some of them may interest us, some may force us to sit and ponder and some make us fume with rage.

For example, take UttarPradesh. The State considered as the stepping stone to its way for occupying the ‘gaddi’ at Indraprastha by a political party. Remember A.B.Vajpayee’s famous utterings here. Most often we get something to have a hearty laugh thanks to Mayawati, the UP Chief Minister for her Tuglaq model reforms and orders like installation of her own statues not one or two but innumerable, even she has lost count of them alongside those of her mentor Kanshi Ram and B.R.Ambedkar. But she didn’t stop there. To protect the statues from vandals and political adversaries like Mulayam Singh and Amar Singh, the Samajwadi Party leaders, police men are deployed day in and day out and also making it incumbent upon them and their immediate superiors to report latest state of the statues to DIG Neera Raut on a weekly basis. Befooling oneself may be a way of deriving satisfaction for a few. Otherwise the CM’s penchant for installing her own statues somewhat displays her narcissist bent of mind bordering megalomania.

Our political commentators as well as her political adversaries and also the ‘ever-vigilant’ media left the subject then and there after they got something new to harp on. Can we call this ‘the great Indian circus” or the “Theatre of the absurd”? Sorry sir, I do not know.

The latest one being Mayawati-Rita Bahuguna Joshi spat. Ms.Joshi, the Chairperson of Indian National Congress of UP unit and her incarceration by Mayawati for the former’s mouthing of “uncivilized gutter language” against Mayawati and the latter’s spur of the moment reaction, all shook the nation by storm and all eyes turned to the ugly drama unfolding in UP. With the grant of bail to Ms Joshi by Moradabad district Magistrate, the raging fury of Joshi’s supporters and the defence of Ms. Joshi by her party’s national leaders, the ugly drama has come to a close, at least for the time being, leaving the next step of analyses and conclusions to the political commentators.

The other news which shocked us all was the reported exposure of news about the frisking of our former President Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam by an American based Airlines- Continental Airlines- at Indira Gandhi International Airport at New Delhi . ( there are two schools of thought anyhow) The bizarre drama happened way back on April 24, even then the disclosure took place only two or three days before. Why the whole thing was kept under wraps is somewhat a mystery. It all points to USA’s nightmares after 9/11 disaster and they are still nursing the fears.

As per the latest reports the Airlines have tendered an apology to Dr.Kalam for the sordid happenings which caused immense pain to him. Whether a mere apology is all that necessary for the hurt and pain caused to the former President?

The other news which led to anger and disillusionment among certain quarters was one related to the agreement reached at Sharm-el-Sheikh between our Prime Minister ManMohanSingh and Pakistani Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani on the sidelines of 15th Non-Aligned meeting.

Political commentators differ in their perspectives. Those who differ term it as a ‘sell-out’. India’s consent to include Pakistan’s contention of the ‘former’s interference’ in Baluchistan and also the bracketing of composite dialogue process and terrorist attacks were not in the least expected by members of opposition leading to a flurry of protests against the government. In the days to come whether protests will gain momentum or fade into the oblivion- wait and see.

Similar is the case with the visit of Ms.Hillary Clinton, the American Sate Secretary and the defence pact signed between her and her Indian counterpart related with India’s assent paving the way for USA’s access to information relating to India’s defence purchases by signing “end-user monitoring arrangement”. The opposition’s vehement protest against the controversial pact and government’s defence in the Loksabha and Rajyasabha led to the stalling of two houses.

A To Z Of Indian Politics

While in school we are taught a for apple , b for ball and such stuffs , school of politics of India has entirely different teaching. Here is how it looks like :

A for Aam Aadmi : India is very diversed country with all major religions , various languages , caste living in one country. But chiefly there are only two set of people. Aam and Khaas. aam includes 99% of people of India while khaas includes top business and corporate heads , IAS ,IPS and political brass . Of course with their families. So since aam aadmi is majority , Indian politics runs of claims of doing wonders for aam aadmi and ending up doing wonders for khaas!!!!!!!!

B for Babri Mashjid :

It is very sensitive issue involving two major religions in India . Hinduism and Islam. But for Indian politics babri is important issue to divide and get votes. Secular takaat is defined by those who didnt participate in babri and communal are those who did participate.

While this is fading into being no issue with urban masses but it still continues to form psychic of people who actually vote.

C for Caste :

Not important factor is metros and mega cities , caste is still a very important social issue and form basis of votes. Mayawati's social engineering concept and her massive victory showed how caste matters in politics.

D for Delhi :

Its dream of all political parties. Har karam apna karenge ae kurshi tere liye is slogan of all . Now just Indian politicians , a defense expert according to pakistanis and comedian according to Indian , Zaid Hamid also dreams of ruling delhi someday!!!!!!!!

E for Election Commissioner :

A person who is not liked by all political parties but are left with no option but to obey his orders!!!!!

F for Farmers :

Farmers committing suicide is blamed on previous government ,farmer loan waver is taken credit by all . Sugar cane price becomes issue for which all political parties try to take credit

G for Gandhi :

No. Its not mahatma gandhi. Mahatma gandhi is for 2nd october and international branding. For Indian politics gandhi is indira gandhi , rajeev gandhi , sonia gandhi and rahul gandhi. Ohh i forgot priyanka gandhi , varun gandhi and ofcourse menka gandhi.

If its congress politicians , pledge loyality to sonia gandhi and rahul gandhi is obligatory . If politician is from other party opposing this gandhi family is number one thing .

H for Hindi :

Ask raj thakeray and abu azmi , how a language can be made into issue and score political points using that.

I for Industrialization :

For details ask communist on singur issue!!!!!!

J for Junta :

Faceless community which can be manipulated , divided and used for political mileage.

K for Karunanidhi :

One cannot make government in delhi without his support. UPA has it , NDA had it. Karunanidhi is ingredient without which no political collation recipe seems complete.

L for Lal Krishna Advani :

He dreamt of becoming prime minister but that dream was never realized. Lal krishna advani would be judged in history of modern India who practically polarised the votes by his babri campaign.

Lately he tried to correct his image but he could never succeed in it.But even after retirement he would be part of indian politics being in psychic of Indian voters , specially right wings and minorities.

M for Madam/Mamta/Maya :

Dial M for Indian Politics. Indira gandhi was one big madam of Indian politics and now we have mayawati , mamta and madam sonia gandhi. Indian politics has had femine power which has potential to rule . They can be bully at times , they can be ruthless at times but largely they are good for running their parties giving one success after another.

N for Naxals :

Naxals is said to be biggest threat to country. But for political reasons effective counter naxal strategy becomes difficult to be formed. Lalu blames communist who blame mamta who blames again communist. So its merry go round and naxals keep on striking.

They are india's taliban. While taliban of pakistan want to implement their version of a holy book , naxals want to implement their version of holy book called mao , marx and lenin theories.

O is For Opposition :

A position in parliament which gives license to go for rampage . A position which is not liked to be held by any party and goal remains to get out of this position at any cost.

P is For paisa , power and parliament :

While goal is to reach parliament , the other two Ps are side product of reaching parliament and for some main goal.

Q is For Quitting Party :

Ability to quit party and forming own party is key to political success. But it can back fire too. Famous and successful quitters are sharad pawar , mamta banerjee , chandra shekhar and upcoming is raj thackeray.

R is For Regionalization :

Divide and divide and divide. Golden mantra of Indian Politics since eternity. Why only maharathi manoos?. Manoos for every state and win state election , send one or two mps to center , support center government and get job done.

S is For Secularism :

A term which is undefined in Indian politics. While official definition means position that religious belief should not influence public and governmental decisions; The related political belief in the separation of religion and state but largely secularism in India is used as term to keep right wing out of government. Often countered by right wing by word calle pseudo secularism.

T is For Terrorism :

Terrorism is not modern phenomena but lately this has seen rise in leaps and bounds. Weak government , strong government , terrorism and religion etc are important political issues.

U is for Unity under Obligation :

Other name is coalition which is practise of current Indian politics.

V is for Votes :

Vote ka mamla hai dilbar , khalbhali hai brain ke andar. Votes is right given to people to pass verdict about who would rule them. Votes designed to give power to people has been nicely used by politicians. Those who understand are lazy enough to vote and others who vote are lazy enough to understand!!!!!!!

W is for Wealth :

No need to elaborate . In time of recession one buisness strives.

X is for X-Factor :

This x-factor is unseen factor which has largely remained undefined. Is it charisma or is it in born?. Good speakers but bad implementers or ability to loose memory once elected. Its something in politicians that make them impossible to be ignored , impossible to give up and impossible to remember their election promises.

Y is for Yes Sir/Madam :

The ability to re assure leaders of respective parties about loyalty , about their way of thinking and in turn being able to survive in highly lucrative career.

Z is for Zero Hour :

An hour designed to raise questions to government and not infamous for absenteeism in parliament

Will Corruption Continue to Hold Back Brazil´s Economic Growth?

Corruption has, for a long time, been an unfortunate characteristic of Brazil and a concern of international investors and business people. With the most prominent forms appearing in the country's political system, below are some short descriptions of the most publicised cases:

- Fernando Collor (president from 1990 to 1992) was exposed as having undertaken a number of corrupt extortions in a fairly unsubtle manner and subsequently resigned to avoid impeachment. In 1994, he was acquitted of corruption on the grounds of inadequate evidence and is now back in the Brazilian Senate.

- In 2002, $BRL 1.3 million was uncovered in a police raid at presidential hopeful Roseana Sarney´s husbands office. Despite the controversy at the time, she is back serving as state governor of MaranhĂ£o.

- The 'MensalĂ£o' affair of 2005 saw the chairman of the Brazilian Labour Party (Partido Trabalhista Brasileiro, PTB) - Roberto Jefferson - being implicated in a bribery case. A Parliamentary Commission was set up where Jefferson stated that there were several MPs receiving money to vote for specific legislation. In the same period, campaign manager Duda Mendonça admitted that undeclared and illegal funds (derived from private sources and laundered money through an advertising agency) were used to finance the PTB electoral victory of 2002.

- In 2009 Federal District governor, José Roberto Arruda, was caught handing bags of money to his legislator allies. What made this case particularly notable was the fact that that when Arruda's behaviour was exposed - the news was made widespread throughout the country and the politician was publically arrested and placed in custody: an unprecedented event in Brazil's history.

Whilst a 2010 study by German NGO Transparency International pointed to Brazil leading ahead of its BRIC counterparts (Russia, India and China), the recent Index of Economic Freedom stated that uncontrolled corruption amongst the political elite remains one of the main factors impeding the country´s excelled growth. Many of the Brazilian public believe that it is one of the main problems that the country faces.

According to Levy BrandĂ£o, leader of the campaign to oust JosĂ© Arruda, the root causes of the problem are a lack of whistle-blowers and public transparency. He believes that, for Brazil to truly be able to grow sustainably, the political system needs to instill higher ethical standards than currently exist which, in turn, will filter into the economy and business world. Many campaigners also state that the punishment for corrupt politicians needs to be greater - many cases continue to go unnoticed and trials can take long periods of time within which corrupt politicians can renew their careers.

Nevertheless, several Brazilian commentators and industry leaders debate that modern day principles of decency, avoidance of greed and abuse of power are emerging. According to Jorge Gerdau, chairman of Grupo Gerdau, one of Brazil's largest steelmakers: "There is a historical, cultural problem of a certain backwardness which is very hard to overcome but there is also increasing public demand for transparency and respect for the electorate."

TransparĂªncia, a SĂ£o Paulo based NGO, claims that although political bribery does occur, some of the money is in fact used to fund election campaigns. Politicians often feel the need to bypass Brazil's orthodox campaign finance laws to further their chances of gaining seats in the Senate.

In late 2009, President Lula signed a bill encouraging members of the public to report acts of corruption whilst, at the same time, offering support and protection for those that do. Indeed, most of Brazilians want to see corrupt politicians and people in power exposed and, in turn, more grass roots organisations are appearing across the country. The 'Arruda Out' campaign (run by student groups) was an excellent example of the power of self-creating groups taking to the streets to call for a more ethical Brazilian political system (the ´Arruda Out´ campaign attracted over 30,000 members). The leader of the campaign believes that the country is moving in the right direction - particularly with regards to media exposure as well as the internet allowing news to be spread quicker and easier. The fact that Arruda was placed in public custody should leave an impression on future generations of politicians to not impeach the law for their own gains.

In the business community, there are more companies wishing to decrease the level of corruption - one particularly successful organisation is the Pacto Empresarial pela Integridade e Contra a CorrupĂ§Ă£o (the Business Pact for Integrity and Anti-Corruption) which has over 1,300 members and rising, including most of Brazil´s major companies.

Green Energy Sources Have Many Benefits

For a very long time, we have relied on fossil fuels. It provides heat to our homes, gas for our cars and electricity. Since we are now using it more than ever, there is a consequence. We are depleting our resources and slowly killing our planet. Fortunately, we can change our ways and then shift our attention to green energy sources.

But why green energy sources? Well because there are advantages to using them which we will never be able to get if we donĂ¢€™t change our ways. This is also even if some will argue that the problem with green energy is that it is sometimes difficult to generate the power we need. While that may be true, that is why there are other green energy sources available and we just to know which ones are viable given the geographic location.

The various green energy sources such as solar, wind, wave, hydropower and geothermal do not produce anything harmful which may have a negative effect on the environment. This is the exact opposite of what you get when you continue to operate a coal or nuclear power plant.

Coal you have to remember releases carbon dioxide into the air. On its own, it may not cause that much damage but there are currently 50,000 coal plants around the world and that number is expected to grow.

Nuclear plants may not release anything harmful into the air. The issue is how we dispose of the spend rods and if another nuclear accident should occur. We remember Chernobyl and Three Mile Island. We have probably learned better ways to prevent another incident from happening. Through the years, a few minor accidents have occurred and although the leak was contained, just imagine if it wasnĂ¢€™t?

Green energy sources may not be maintenance free but at least it does not require that much to maintain them compared to conventional means. In the end, we save money because such facilities donĂ¢€™t cost that much to operate.

The next advantage of using green energy sources is that we will never run out of them. For centuries, the sunĂ¢€™s rays have reached so has the wind which is blown from the sea. By using it, we decrease our dependence on oil which is a nonrenewable resource.

If you think about it, many of us have taken these green energy sources for granted. If we do the right thing now, future generations will not have to face the mess that we could have handled on our own years before.

In short, the power is in our hands. We have the technology and we know what to do with it. The only thing we need is to do is to put our money where our mouth is because despite the number of conferences on global warming and climate change, little has happened.

It is easy to talk about how concerned we are about the environment but you have to ask yourself when will more solar panels or wind turbines will be erected? When will the number of coal or nuclear power plants be reduced?

Green energy sources is the solution to the environmental, political and social problems of this lifetime. By spending more on these technologies, no country will have to depend on another or even a corporation for their power needs because they are self dependent and free.

Massey Energy Mine Explosion-Do we need more green energy

It is now one day since an explosion in West Virginia that killed 25 miners and left 4 unaccounted for.. The corporation that owns the mine, Massey Energy, saw an 8% pullback tuesday in their stock.

The explosion took place aproximately thirty miles south of Charleston on Monday

The Upper Big Branch Mine, one of 44 mines operated by Massey Energy suffered this explosion while in the middle of a shift change Monday and was the deadliest mine accident in over 2 decades. The cause was still not known as of tuesday afternoon.Tuesday.

Massey Energy has been fined in the past as a result of violations at the Upper Big Branch and other of it's mines."Massey has probably had more fines and other issues than it's competitors," said David Lipschitz. He is a senior analyst at Credit Agricole Securities.

There have been 3 other deaths at this same mine in the past 12 years.Proposed penalties against Upper Big Branch Mine were almost $1 million last year. That's more than three times any other year on record.More than three times any other year.Included in these were penalties for escape routes for mine workers and air quality ventilation.

Massey Energy paid $4.2 million in fines after a fire at the Aracoma Alma Mine in Logan County. This was the biggest settlement in industry history and was a result of safety violations including inadequate water supply to the fire hoses. That fire occured in 2006.

This mining catastrophe could possibly elevate an already hot political climate in Washington. The top two federal officials that conduct mining safety once worked for unions and Massey Energy has historically taken a strong anti union position.Massey could be targeted for more scrutinizing without attacking the mining industry in whole.

Massey Energy has also had enviromental penalties including $20 million in fines for Clean Water Act violations in West Virginia and Kentucky. The hugest penalty in the EPA's history levied against a company for wastewater discharge permit violations. That happened January 2008. Some amounts of metals, sediment, and acid drainage into waters of West Virginia and Kentucky were at levels ten times over the limit according to the EPA.

Explosions like this could possibly escalate the political argument for and against renewable energy. With more Green energy products regularly coming on the market there are hopes that these kinds of disasters will one day be a thing of the past.happen much less often.

There are several places to get information on green renewable energy. Some even offerprovide do it yourself instruction if you are on a tight income.

Make the effort to see what Green energy products are available.

As we all know solar and wind is whot comes to mind when we think about green energy. There have been incredible improvements in these fields. I'm sure most of you have driven along and saw the big windmills, some seem to go on and on. That is called a windfarm.

You may have never heard of zero point energy but you must take a look at it. It is way cool.

HOW TO TACKLE TERRORISM?

Whenever it comes to fighting terrorism,we generally think of fighting them with guns, tanks, bombs, etc. One thing I wanna tell you that these are the methods of fighting terrorism and not containing it.You cant stop radicalisation or rebellion using any military weapon.History is evidence and ongoing present also.In present all the nations that are the epicenter of terrorism have crowded by military of different nations. But terrorism is growing on and on.

So what can be done to bring terrorism to halt.
First of all we have to understand the cause of people getting radicalized. It may be due to loss of living, discrimination, denied rights,Occupation of homeland to some other nation or people etc.

After understanding the cause the next step is to ensure that importance is given to their cause and proper respect should be given to their cause.International community needs to know why these people are being forced to take such extreme steps that are prohibited in every society, community, religion, region etc.Steps should be taken to ensure that they are not denied of anything which is theirs.

It is generally seen that terror hit nations and regions are poverty torn or are facing some extreme conditions natural or man made.International community must provide financial and infrastructural help to these regions so people can lead a satisfactory life.

Next comes the role of community.Elders of community should make sure that youth follow right path for fighting their cause.Religious leaders and community leaders should socially prohibit the practice of killing innocents.

Following the above the steps, terrorism could be tackled in a much better way rather than sending military to terror hit areas.

Why human need space and time travel?

When it comes to  time travel, the question arises WHAT IS THE NEED?
Well it is hard to believe that our future depends a lot on time travel.
HOW?
Here is the explanation.
TIME TRAVEL
Our present is plagued by many problems like climate change, global warming, terrorism, civil uproars etc.We really need some serious and decisive solutions to these big and never ending problems.HOW we can bring these escalating problems to a halt?
There seems no solution. In present, due to huge differences between people, communities and nations,a well working solution is not possible.BUT now think about time travel.A damn large number of problems could be halted by altering the past and many problems of future could be diverted by visiting future.
Look how our problems would be extinct in a matter of past.
But there is a dark side too.Time travel can also become the biggest threat to mankind. If past is even altered at micro level it could change the present significantly.
Some nations can use to fill their aspirations and everything can go wrong.Personal aspirations can also lead to disaster.Even future travel can also yield many problems.

I GIVE A  SIMPLE EXAMPLE TO SHOW ITS DEMERITS.
Imagine HITLER is alerted about future comings. Then rest would have been a dark past in our present.
Well the debate whether the time travel would prove to be a blessing or a curse will continue till and after the first time travel is achieved

INTERNATIONAL SUMMITS ARE FAST BECOMING IRRELEVANT

Can you recall if any international summit yielded any result in recent times?
Answer is no or A BIG NO INDEED
Many summits on environment, nuclear energy, terrorism etc have ended in failure. This usually happens because of huge difference in policies of different countries.
Recently held Copenhagen environment summit is a good example. No common statement was drafted as some developing countries had differences on international policy on environment with developed countries.
So it is becoming far clear that GLOBAL INSTITUTIONS LIKE UN,WHO ETC ARE LOSING THEIR RELEVANCE.
Who is responsible?Of course our political leadership.
They have failed to recognize how important the proper coordination between nations is.Global coordination is absolutely necessary to  tackle global problems like GLOBAL WARMING,TERRORISM,POVERTY,HUNGER,UNEMPLOYMENT,CLIMATE CHANGE ETC
So the leaders of different countries should work out the way of making all the summits very relevant. While drafting a common policy at international level all the nations, people, communities etc. should be kept in  mind

YOU HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE THE SYSTEM

YOU HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE THE SYSTEM,believe me its true.
you may recognize  yourself as a common person who has his own problems to deal with. But it is a common person only who rises above ordinaries and who questions the drawbacks of the system and gains the popular support of the ordinaries and becomes the extra ordinary personality among ordinaries. But he still reamins ordinary in his own eyes,
EXAMPLES:1. MAHATMA GANDHI
                     2.MARTIN LUTHER
                     3.NELSON MANDELA
                     AND MANY OTHERS
Were they extra ordinary by birth.NO.but their WILL TO CHANGE THE SOCIETY SO AS TO MAKE IT LIVABLE FOR PEOPLE MADE THEM GREAT.
I am not asking you to gain such a mass popularity and do something terrific.
What you have to do is to just fight for your rights, question the bad laws of society and government and don't be afraid of crushers.

THOUSAND CHALLENGES?

If we look at history of humans, you would observe one thing that they never faced as many challenges or we can say a threat to disturb their life as we are now facing in end of first decade of 21st century.
Global warming,TERRORISM,nuclear, biological and chemical threat, civil wars, increasing radicalization  of religious groups and the list keeps going on.
You will think that this all cannot wipe out humans.Yes of course not as humans are more adaptable than bacterias.BUT all these challenges have the capability to make the life of each and every human a HELL.We really need to do some thing as soon as possible
Do you really think that it is the job of OBAMA or he has the capability to put the things back to normal.Surely not.
SO,HOW WE GONNA FIGHT THE CHALLENGES?
WELL THE ANSWER IS YOU.
Its you whose efforts can bring change.I am talking about thousands of you who together are more powerful than Obama more decisive than any one else, your voice would be heard more than anyone else.

THE BIGGEST MISTAKES OF US

TERRORISM  has spread its roots to over the whole world and UNITED STATES POLICIES HAVE A MAJOR CONTRIBUTION IN ITS SPREAD.
Well you might ask me to show any historical evidence.Don't worry I will show you the present evidence instead.

You must have heard of Afghan-pak policy and this is the evidence.
Now imagine you being the president of US.Now you wanna tackle al-qaeda  and taliban and I ask you to tackle them using al-qaeda spies and talibani fighters.Well your response would be"do you think i am  foolish"
But Mr President's new afghan-pak policy aims at doing so.
They wanna fight terrorism using terrorists.US security officials wana befriend good taliban or in other words good terrorists."IDIOTS "aren't they.
So do you think it would stop terrorism.Well off course A BIG NO
Rather it would help the radical fundamentalism to  grow
My final message to Mr President is
"don't act as idiots,be responsible and duty bound and please use your common sense"

ARE WE STILL WORTHY TO CALL OUR EARTH MOTHER?

Answer of the above question is well known to you.Remember the time when people used to pray mother earth for petting them and now are the days when you don't......................................well you know what i wanna say.
What the hell we have made on earth. This is the same earth which provides us food, shelter, almost everything without which we would not be called humans even .well animals have the right to call us traitors.pity on us.I am not asking you to go green neither to preserve anything but I just want you to ask yourself a few questions-Are you really not concerned about our mother earth?Would you really love this planet the same way when it would have lost its all greenery and most animals would be extinct?Do you really like the crowded cities more than the countryside? If your response to any one above is yes then you have  the full right to live on this planet as you will be one in millions ready to destroy it and if your all answers are no then you should better die of remorse as you have not done anything till now for your earth.
